Susanna Leighton

Executive Director, Resource Management and Operations

I am what you call a “Boomeranger”. I have worked here 2 times for a total of too many years to count.

I started my career at Team One in the production department, leaning into my operational brain and focusing on the love of executing the highest quality output of our creative work.

In my second term of service, I was hired to be the Director of Creative Services.  Where I tapped into my passion to discover and recruit creative talent, cultivating relationships, building teams and empowering creative writers, art directors, technologists, designers, taste makers, and craft leaders to be passionate and strive at Team One and beyond. By fostering junior talent to grow into creative directors and facilitating teams to make the remarkable happen, I have grown the digital creative offering and expanded the creative talent roster with new capabilities.

In my Executive Director role, I amplify and allocate the talent of the agency, overseeing people analytics, leading annual client scoping processes, managing key financial measures for the agency, championing employee advancement and cross-team opportunities.

I’m consistently inspired by our people, their intelligence, creativity, collaboration, and their entrepreneurial spirit, all in service of our creative product, and client’s business.
I enjoy partnering with key leaders in our organization, to strategize and implement new staffing models, identifying growth opportunities for talent, and to build thriving cross functional teams.
