Another year, another Social Media Week LA! This year, SMWLA focused on the global theme of “Language and Machine”, and examined how algorithms were shaping human language and communication. Team One had the pleasure of attending events throughout the week as well as speaking at one of the panels alongside one of our clients, Lexus.
Our own John Dohrmann and Robin Watkins hit the stage with Lexus’ digital communications manager, Gabe Munch, and Facebook’s global marketing solutions, James Zayti, to chat “How Lexus Pushed the Limits of Facebook Live to Connect With A Critical Audience”.
During the panel, the team shared how we were able to go live on Facebook for 10 consecutive hours to build a custom Lexus RC. All personalized with real-time audience voting, of course. A campaign highlight? The Lexus’ Facebook live stream alone reached over 5 million people and had over 8 million impressions.
