It’s the little things…like capers on a bagel, or himalayan rock salt. When it comes to UI it really is the little things. One of our favorite mobile UIs in an app is Path. We love the the little plus icon that releases a semicircle of adorable child icons that you just want to cuddle. The icons are self-evident enough to know what you’re getting into.The stroke of genius is that the plus turns into an x, signifying to the user that icons will retract if you select the x. When you do that the x turns back into a plus sign. Cute. Makes us want to scream with ecstasy. We’re geeks. Deal with it.
