building a better tomorrow for the bees

We’re proud to announce that Team One and The Healthy Hive Foundation will lead a PanelPicker at SXSW 2024 centered on leveraging design to protect the bees.

Our panel will discuss the intersection of ecology and design, bee preservation, and the innovative solutions we can arrive at when advocates, creatives, and designers collaborate on the world’s most pressing issues.

The standard beehive hasn't changed in over 100 years, but our environment has changed drastically. Our SXSW Panel engages some of the brightest young minds at the University of Texas School of Architecture to use their unique insights and modern understanding of structures and materials to create inventive habitats that help bees not only survive but thrive.

Joined by the likes of The Healthy Hive Foundation’s Miakila Ulmer, UT Austin professor Danelle Briscoe, and Team One’s very own Chris Graves, we pull back the curtain to explore what the future of the bees could look like. Sign up to reserve your spot at “Thinking Outside the Hive: Designing Tomorrow's Beehive”, heading to Austin, TX next spring.
